This year’s Junior Home International saw our juniors travelling over to Sheringham Park on the North Norfolk coast for a competition hosted by the East Anglia Orienteering Association. There were some strong performances in the individuals. Our W14 team (all actually W12s) all made it round a challenging course to score points for the team, and Seb Lyne and Freddie Lake were best placed in 7th.
After a quick dip in the sea, the ceilidh and a little bit of sleep we were back at Sheringham Park for the relay on Sunday morning. England and Scotland are always strong in the relay and this year Ireland had some very good M16s (who run the first leg) but Seb and Freddie both ran well again to pull our men’s first team up into 6th place.
