The 2025 Welsh Championships took place in Eryri National Park over the St David’s day weekend. Eryri Orienteers treated us to two mountain areas with spectacular views of the snow capped mountains and over to Newborough on Anglesey. Saturday’s event on Moel Smytho hosted Cwpan y Ddraig (the Welsh heat for the Yvette Baker trophy) - congratulations to the winners, Eryri juniors.
Sunday’s championships courses made the most of the contour detail and rock features of Llechweddgain.
The 2025 open champions are Anna Drinkwater ERYRI and Williams Reynolds SBOC - congratulations to them and all the other winners. You can see the full list of Welsh champions in the Hall of Fame
Thanks to all the Eryri and MDOC volunteers for a great event.
