Welsh League

The events that count towards the League are all Welsh events Level C and higher (District, Regional and National) plus selected events in the NW and West Midlands. These latter will be notified by the League Co-ordinator David Seward, in Y Ddraig and on this website at the earliest opportunity each year.

Events to be included: National, Regional and District events. 

Categories: Men and Women - Super Veteran (50+), Veteran (40, 45), Senior (20, 21, 35), Junior (18-)

The best 4 scores will count.

A handicap or weighting system based on age-class and course-class or colour:

NOTE: Novices on the Yellow course may run in pairs. Shadowed runners on the Yellow course must be declared at registration and will be non-competitive.

2000 and 2001 Rules

Five best to count if 7-8 League events held in year; Six best if 9+ League events held in year
1000 points to winner on each course (male & female, except Brown - open only)
Points = (winner's time divided by your time) x 1000
Average scores for officials who compete in 4 or more events
If 2 people tie with maximum points, the next best score will decide
To claim a top 3 placing, competitors must run in 4 or more events.
